Shoppee management has made sure they resolve the complaint of their partner riders Shopee Xpress (SPX). Based on the official statement sent to the FILIPINO Mirror by their Public Relations Miss Marian Albano, she said that they understand the grievances of their rider partners this pandemic and they are recognized for their diligence and support of the company.

That is why Shoppee has already investigated the situation regarding their alleged non-receipt of salary and non-payment of incentives. Shoppe’s statement further stated that Shoppee’s SPX delivery partner also serves other agencies to assist source riders and Shoppee clarified that they pay agencies on time as they depend on those agencies to invoice SPX in accordance with the right time to also pay their riders. ”SPX, one of Shopee’s integrated delivery partners, works with a number of service agencies to help source riders.

We pay these agencies on time, and we also rely on these agencies to invoice SPX in a timely manner so that the riders under their management will consequently receive their salaries and other benefits on time, ”according to the official statement. Shoppee made the statement following a report that their partner rider was preparing to complain about their salary and incentives.
